Rachel Motley, 19, Crown Kits

Rachel Motley was a New Rochelle High School student who developed Crown Kits, style kits for Black Hair. As a result of her experience, Rachel received full scholarships (over $200,000) to Howard University and Babson and was placed in the honors program.

She stated, “When I interviewed at Babson, they focused on my Girls With Impact project.... I’m much more confident; I know how to go about making things happen. The things they teach are what you really need to know.”
