As the next generation of leaders begins to shape the world, it's essential to ensure they're well-prepared for the challenges and opportunities ahead. Girls With Impact proudly introduces The Boardroom, a dynamic program designed to provide our Academy graduates with the resources and support to kickstart their future careers and embark on a transformative leadership journey.
The Boardroom comprises four distinct programs meticulously crafted to elevate each student's platform for continued growth and success. These programs—NextGen Advisory Board, Ambassador Program, Levelup Lounge, and Impact Pathways & Mentorship—have been tailored to cater to students' diverse needs, offering them valuable resources to pursue greatness. Our programs are entirely remote, conveniently hosted on Google Classroom, ensuring that students have easy and unrestricted access to these invaluable resources.
NextGen Advisory Board:
The NextGen Advisory Board offers students the opportunity to take a seat at the Girls With Impact table while honing their leadership skills. Comprising 20 highly motivated individuals passionate about leadership, this board provides students with a unique opportunity to engage in leadership positions. These students are nominated by their dedicated Academy coaches and are hand-selected annually by the GWI staff. Their input will be instrumental in shaping the future direction of Girls With Impact, ensuring its continued relevance for their generation.
Ambassador Program:
Our Ambassador Program is open to all Academy graduates, allowing them to share their transformative experiences as GWI students. Ambassadors gain valuable skills in leadership and advocacy while representing our mission within their communities. They receive professional branding tools, including inspirational captions, videos, and photos, to effectively promote GWI. Ambassadors also participate in engaging social media challenges that align with our mission.
Impact Pathways & Mentorship Network:
The Impact Pathways and Mentorship Network is a valuable space where students receive professional mentorship in career guidance, college planning, and future development. This program is available upon request, and students are thoughtfully paired with mentors who are successful professionals in various fields. These mentorship relationships are formed quarterly, providing students with valuable insights and connections as they navigate the challenges of entrepreneurship.
Levelup Lounge & Internship Opportunities:
The Levelup Lounge serves as a fantastic resource for students seeking internships and job opportunities. It connects students with opportunities offered by prominent corporations and businesses. In addition to these opportunities, students have access to resume workshops and interview skill-building resources. The Lounge operates as a virtual learning environment, offering a wide range of courses and resources aimed at enhancing students' skills and ensuring they stay ahead in their personal and professional development.
