A Look Ahead for Women's History Month

With a mission to equip 1 million future female CEOs, it’s no secret Girls With Impact has some pretty big plans for International Women’s History Month this March.

Officially, International Women’s Day is on March 8th – the date of our second annual concert that helps support Girls With Impact’s goal. Yet, the truth is, International Women’s Day is not merely about a celebration of women – it’s also a time to reflect on the discrimination and inequalities that are still present and contribute to changing that. That level of complexity cannot nearly be jammed into a single day or event – thus we’re celebrating International Women’s Day all month long!

See below for our upcoming events this March!

March 8th – The Second Annual International Women’s Day Concert (New York City, NY)

"Girls With Impact is empowering girls like me to forge their own path. That is the power of this program and why I am proud for my musical to support it. We need our girls center stage” says none other than Tina Turner.

We're absolutely thrilled to have the support of the Queen of Rock n’ Roll herself for our International Women's Day Benefit Concert featuring performances from TINA - The Tina Turner Musical plus Grammy Award Winners Sara Bareilles and Jennifer Nettles.  Turner’s own life was full of perseverance as she pushed the boundaries of the industry with both her music and gender.

Not only will it be a night of talent, fun , and entertainment, but it directly impacts our mission of training 1 million under-resourced young women as tomorrow’s leaders. So, bring your friends, family, and colleagues – this is an event you don’t want to miss!
